Traveling with family I make it a point take lots of photographs, and bring back at home studio and create as I don't get to settle down and paint.

I like this process as it gives me opportunity to get back and revisit the beautiful places.

In the below gallery every first picture is the photograph and the second is the art created.

Watercolors are a very versatile. Sketching is the most important exercise for any artist to develop their skills with.

Painting directly with watercolors is exciting and intimidating at the same time.

Painting 'Plein Air' - designating a painting executed outdoors and representing a direct response to the scene or subject in natural light, with direct watercolors is a lot of fun, and a great learning experience.

Tips- Set up a watercolor traveling kit. Keep a small size limited color palette , watercolor journal or small block. A small lightweight easel if required and a few of your best brushes. Don't be afraid to give in to the experience and enjoy it!
